Günter Brus' drawings

Günter Brus is one of the most important and radical representatives of Viennese Actionism. He consistently used his own body as a means for his art. In addition to his actions, Brus also produced paintings, drawings and graphic works.

Currently on display at Galerie Ruberl are works from Brus's graphic and drawing oeuvre. Brus' unique, almost surrealistic style is unmistakable. His text-image symbioses often work on dreams, symbols and fiction. The result is a complex and enigmatic pictorial structure.
