A blue cross etching by Arnulf Rainer is new to the stock of the Galerie Ruberl. It dates from the early 1980s and is characterised by its strong colourfulness. The cross runs through Arnulf Rainer's work as a symbol and form. Especially in the 1980s, the artist turned tirelessly to the cross form - in painting and printmaking art alike.
